Why Pfeiffer Undergraduate Liberal Arts Focus

I chose Pfeiffer because I wanted to be a person with a name. I wanted to go to a campus where every single day, I can say, "hi", to my friends walking down the sidewalk. Pfeiffer, whenever you come to a class, if you're not there, your teacher knows you're not there. And I like that-- I like being held to a higher standard. So I thought Pfeiffer was the best fit for me. I went to a small college, and I am here because I want to give back. 

Those kinds of mentoring connections that were given to me when I was an undergraduate. The effort is always to understand who these students are. We take the time, and we take very seriously to build these mentoring relationships, beyond the classroom as well. And so our Honors Program offers opportunities for independent student research. We have an ethics bowl that is led by faculty members in our religion department. 

And so I think that broad mix of experiences, adds to the overall academic quality that we try to deliver every day. You should come to Pfeiffer because without that family atmosphere, and the village and the small community with faculty that actually care-- You will be stuck at a university that doesn't want that for you. And Pfeiffer university wants you to succeed. So they will push you until you are that successful version of yourself.
