I think one of the biggest reasons to consider Pfeiffer in Health and Exercise Science here is how important it is to receive quality training while still receiving that small school feel. They are going to receive advanced curriculum, advanced training, but at the same time in a much more open, and comfortable way to where they do know the professors and they know their classmates, and not necessarily being lost in a big school.
The small-town feel of Pfeiffer-- It's just as soon as you come into the building, you know, you have faculty and staff always greeting you-- checking in on you. Even our classmates, we're like a small little family of our own. We're always making sure we're doing okay, helping one another. Having that support system has really made it that much better.
Our Pfeiffer undergraduate curriculum does a great job with preparing students, who are planning on entering the PA or OT programs that Pfeiffer also offers. One of the ways that we do this is we have a really great curriculum, which has the prerequisites that are required for the PA and OT program. We also feel that our coursework prepares them well for the courses that they would take while in the PA and OT programs.
So I think faculty really do contribute to Pfeiffer feeling like home for students. I think it's important that students know that faculty not only care about their academics, but also care about what's going on, you know, in their lives, and how they're handling the transition to college and that type of thing.
