One of the biggest advantages that we have, especially during our didactic year, has been the hands-on experience. We have a simulation lab, where we have learned intubation skills. You have learned to hear heart and lung sounds-- upon an adult and a child. We have experienced a full simulation of labor and delivery, The Pfeiffer University Master Science and Physician Assistant Studies faculty worked diligently to attain clinical affiliations with Novant Health, Atrium Health, First Health of Carolinas are just examples of hundreds of clinical preceptors that we were able to partner with. So we have evaluated each preceptor and each clinical site to make sure that the students get a quality education while they're on the clinical phase of the program.

So as far as our clinical rotations go, what it's kind of allowing us to do is seeing the way healthcare is given in different settings. You're going to see it in a downtown big city in Charlotte, you're going to see it in a suburb region in Concord, and then you're gonna see it in a rural aspect in Stanley County. And then also within that, we have different subsets. So we have ortho. We have women's health. We have pediatrics. We have emergency medicine. We have internal medicine. We have surgery-- these rotations are going to allow us to still be well-rounded, no matter how we specialize.
